Position Summary :
The Driver is responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
Position Functions:
- Operating and driving straight or articulate trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights and brakes.
- Cold storage and other equipment.
- Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness.
- Complete driver log book, inspection reports, accident/incident reports.
- Production duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work in hot & cold temperatures.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience hauling steel is considered an asset.
- Driver’s License (Class 1 or A).
- Air brake (Z) Endorsement.
- Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR) Certificate.
- Air Brake Adjustment Certificate.
- Criminal record check, driving record check, medical exam, drug test.
